http://carouselofhate.com Come take a ride on the carousel of hate Thu, 20 Nov 2008 14:21:57 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.6.3 en http://carouselofhate.com/fitness/2008/the-human-race-10k/ http://carouselofhate.com/fitness/2008/the-human-race-10k/#comments Sun, 31 Aug 2008 18:34:47 +0000 sky http://www.carouselofhate.com/?p=45 Yesterday I found out that The Finish Line was sponsoring a local run for The Human Race 10K.  I went to the web site and registered even though I was not 100% certain that I would run.  My original Nike+ iPod accelerometer had a dead battery so I bought a new one at the Apple store.  I went to the store at the local mall at 6:30, met up with some people I knew and after everyone got their shirts and packets we finally started at 7:45 (it was scheduled to start at 7:00).  The sun was fully up and the temperature was rising already.  I finished in 1:15:31, not my best time but a good run in any event.
